[short film] The heart notes - made by myself

This is the very 1st time I tried to make a short movie, so there might be mistakes or un-perfectly points that you don't like, but hope you still enjoy watching.

Trip to Whitby

1 amazing trip from the begin to the end :D when we'd arrived there, it's foggy everywhere. I was disappointed with that but the photos are wonderful. The surprises begin in the mid-day when the foggy gone. Everything was clear and sunshine. On top of the hill, I can see all view. Very beautiful!!!

Animation portfolio

After 4 days working, I have completed my portfolio video. It is a short video which I collected most of my work before inside. There are printing design, branding design, website design. I did them when I was working in my old companies. Now I want to study and work in field of video and animation, so this video like a project for me to practice.

I used Illustrator, After Effects and Premier to do it. Although I have just familiar with AE but not I feel quiet confident. When I was making this video, I usually went to some template website or tutorial videos to learn more. It's good cause I can watch and learn how to use or make a effect I need and do them by myself.

Social Networking research

As a presentation in class, I said about the advantages of social networking bring to the life nowadays. I made a short animation clip to support my presentation.

My first point is that social networking changed the way we get in touch with people. 15 years ago, we had letters, postcards, messages and telephone. With the development of the internet, we also had some more way to contact with others by email, blog, yahoo messenger and Skype. However, in the last 5 years, the social networking site continued to grow and the number of users is increasing. With a large number of users, Facebook helps people to get in touch easier. Users update their personal information and share photos, music, messages, news, and status. At the same time, they can subscribe their relatives, friends, celebrities or people they care about. Right now I’m living in England but I'm still on Facebook every day to know friends  in my country and I can share my life here by posting the photos I took. In addition, I knew a lot of new friends. Another useful example is Twitter. With Twitter, I can follow my friends, companies, organizations and celebrities I want.

I’d like now to move on to the second advantage of social networking is people have more choices for entertainment. The social network activities including information search, game playing, checking messages, chatting with friends, follow the people they care on breaks to help people relax, relieve stress and balance to get back to work. One of the best benefits is keeping up-to-date on news more quickly. With round 500 million users in the world, communication speed is extremely powerful. In addition, users can make several kinds of quiz or funny apps and share with others. That is a form of entertainment attracting many young people to join. It brings users not only relax after work hours but also help people expand their knowledge.

Another important point is that they have benefits for businesses and economy. A few years ago, when a woman wants to buy a pair of shoes, she has to go all the shops in town. Now she can sit at home, on the internet, connect to the sales page or even post on her personal Facebook page.

That is a good opportunity for businesses which can capture that time and technology. The business can be built faster than before because they can connect with 100 new customers per day through social network sites. With Twitter, the businesses can be update their information through short messages as well as follow their partners. The important advantage of business on social network is that it promote for their site and business for free.
